I feel like taking pepto bismol today. So much bankroll fluctuations today. I hit a low point of about $700. Variance sucks hard. To have 3 big bets out and lose them all. That’s $60 lost in 3 hands. And when it was all over, the count went low so I couldn’t make up the loss right away. That’s why today was a grind, so to speak. I was determined to not show a loss today so I fought my way back up to $890. A $90 dollar profit over yesterday but the bankroll flucuations today proved this to not be easy money. It really is work. The counting isn’t hard, just the emotions involved. Got to detach to make it in this game. I have to remember that in order to get anywhere with counting, I have to be unafraid to go broke. Scary stuff.
Day 1: $575 profit of $75
Day 2: $800 profit of $225
Day 3: $890 profit of $90
Average profit/per day so far is $130. Hourly win rate (based on 8hr day) is $16.25. Not too shabby but again, at this betting level and this bankroll, busting out completely is still a high probability. I would have to be up to about $2000 to stop worrying about betting red chips. At this rate I could be there as soon as 12 days of winning at this level. That would be nice. Anyway, stay tuned for more progress.
