I found this on my computer while I was doing some spring cleaning on my picture collection. It was written in March of 2003 as part of my very first blog. It’s times like these that I realized that I haven’t really changed much.

life is definately the little things. at least my life is. I get such a joy out of shit that probably means a fraction of a percent as they do to someone else. I wonder if I will ever lose that feeling. I think I can change the world. I think that music can change the world. I think I can change the world with music. In the real world, people don`t care about music. They care about what grown ups are supposed to care about. They care about keeping up appearances and being a good christian and getting something for nothing. I want to bring a sense of innocence back to people. It has been missing in so many for so long. Think back to the song you heard when you first fell in love, or the song you heard when you broke up with your significant other, or the song you heard on the way to work, or the song playing as you hit every green light, or the song in that dramatic point in the movies. i will bring this magic back to people and make them care about it once again. I will change the world someday. i am finally coming to terms (somewhat) that i am memorable and gifted and that people like me. I will change the world. it is the little things that make life magical, and wonderful and make people go on. we can`t bottle that shit up. we have to continue experiencing life and watch as what is unfolding around us isn`t really around us, but within. I want to make that music a part of humanity. I will change the world by making music that is mine and yours and everyones. magic exsists and doesn`t because life itself is magical. Living and breathing and being a part of a world that is wonderful and great is magical in and of itself. I will change the world.
