This song had a strange ride…
This song started out as a personal thing I was recording back in maybe 2003, maybe earlier. Then the band started up and I needed ideas for songs and brought it to the band. It was a good high energy song to play at shows but I don’t think we ever played it cause I never came up with lyrics (except for a chorus). Anyway, flash forward to January 2004 and the band wanted to record a CD to possibly sell at shows and get us booked at more places. We tracked all the drums in my living room (which was quite a sight to behold and someday I will put some video footage up of the recording process). We actually tracked 16 songs and the next task was to record bass lines, and dummy guitar parts to get the creative juices flowing. We started to do just that but wound up abandoning the whole project and soon after the band fell apart.
Flash forward again to 2007…
I was going through some of my old back CDs and DVDs and found the back disk will all of the Bessemer Process drum tracks. So in the spirit of the old days of recording, I decided to put together a song.

This went from an idea of mine, to a live song with the band, to a recording with the band, to now sort a weird collaboration between Bo and Myself. Now if I could only finish writing lyrics…
