June Cast episode 1.
June is now approaching 10 weeks old. Last week she got her first round of immunizations. 5 shots - 2 in one leg, 3 in the other. Plus an oral dropplet as well. She was really upset that day. She was totally grumpy all day and even lethargic and not her usual bright and energetic self. It actually made me a little sad cause there was nothing I could really do to help her feel better except feed her, change her, hold her, and love her until the body got used to it. Anyway…
Here she is a week later. She is now regularly talking. Well there just goo noises but I like to think that she is talking to us. She is also smiling at the sight of us now, which makes the poopie diapers totally worth the effort.

Side note: Here’s a good gross out story…
So I was feeding June this morning and she finishes her bottle and I proceed to burping her like I normally do. She burps HUGE, like louder than I usually burp and I figure she would spit up a little as it usually comes with a burp that big. So I wait a little bit before I put her face near mine. After I feel like I am out of the danger zone, I proceed to give a her a kiss on the cheek. Then a kiss on the other cheek. Then I start to give her a kiss on the lips and right as I am doing this, the spit up I was trying to avoid earlier rears it ugly head and she proceeds to spit up all over my face and in my mouth!!!! It was a truly gross thing to have partially digested breast milk blast into my mouth and I immediately start gagging and spitting all over my living room carpet. Of course all the noise caused June to start crying and she is pretty messy as well with the leftovers still running down her chin. It was quite a scene. Even though it may seem that way, I am not purposely trying to gross out my readers. This is mostly going up as a record so that I can show her this post someday and have a laugh about it.
