This is interesting…
An interesting subset of modern entertainment media…taking the main element out of a medium where it is relied upon. For instance…This is the Garfield comic strip minus Garfield (link goes to my personal favorite comic of the collection).
Another one I saw recently was an clip of the Wonder Years which had the narration removed from the show. It was very weird because instead being a comedy about a man reflecting on his pre-pubescent years, it suddenly became a show about a bunch of maladjusted people that just said very little and just stared at each other most of the time. I have to say, it’s very post-modern and surreal and of course…TOTALLY HILARIOUS!!
What other examples of this have any of you guys seen…?

that’s very odd to me a like the wonder years lacking the narration and a comic lacking the main character but still going on as if nothing is wrong. wtf dude.
