I went a little overboard…
Fry’s was having an anniversary sale so I wound getting a little more than I thought I would. I just couldn’t pass up on the great prices that were only good until tomorrow (Fry’s is good for those secret 2 days sales). So here is the parts list…
1. Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L Motherboard…actually picked this up about a week and a half ago.
2. Intel Q6600 Quad core processor.
3. OCZ DDR-800 2 gigabytes
4. 750 Gigabyte SATA II hard drive
5. Diamond ATI HD3450 Video card (yeah, it’s not a gamer card but has stuff that is very important to me ala HDMI out and h.264 and VC-1 decoding for next gen HD stuff)
All this raw computing power sitting before me and I can’t really piece it together because I still don’t have a case. It’s driving me nuts but hopefully I will get a case before I pull my hair out or die of dehydration from drooling so much. Anyway, enjoy the pic with me, won’t you?

I just picked up a 750 drive during the last woot-off for the same price. So when I saw that one new I threw out a few choice swears. As for a case I seriously love my coolermaster 690. It doesn’t come with a power supply but tons of fan space and the ports on the top (2xusb 1394, esata) have got me very happy.
