More Nostalgia
I decided recently that I needed a swift kick in the ass in regards to writing new music. It’s always been sort of a cycle of being heavy into drumline then heavy into rock music and now it’s just swung back the other direction to rock music and more specifically, starting a good band to play some shows with. After playing with The Bessemer Process at Vinnies, Jerrys, and the Boiler Room I am anxious to do it again. Only where that band was extrememly lazy about rehearsing and playing shows, I intend to start a real workhorse band and take this shitty town by storm. The last couple of months of posts have really been leading up to the start of something big and I just needed to listen to all those old songs I wrote to realize that I have a talent that I need to share it with people. Anyway, so I am going to start something up with my wife (my true inspiration) and start doing the coffee shop thing. I am looking for a good bongo/drummer who is interested in fucking up the Bako music scene. Any takers?
On a side note and for more nostalgic purposes, check out the new site I put up documenting everything remotely musical that I have done so far. It’s definitely a work in progress so far but I decided that the first order of buisness was putting up some really old and probably unheard music.
