The title should read as “the Obligatory random post” really. I feel like I haven’t done one of these in a while so I probably should.

1. Post marathon blues hit last week along with some other depressing news so it was one of those weeks. Thanks Lys for getting me through.
2. Been thinking about my next marathon a lot and wishing I had more money. Would love to run the Pasadena 1/2 marathon (my virgin race) along with the outrageously expensive LA2010 marathon (seriously $125 early registration. Fuck you very much) along with San Fran in the summer and Surf City in the fall (to complete the California Dreamin race series) but may only be one race and a lot of training next year.
3. According to my current 3mi/5K-ish (ish because I regularly run a 3.03mi loop) times, I should have the ability to Boston Qualify at my next race. That is my next marathon goal (3:10 or better), with the next being a sub-3hr and after that a 2:30 marathon. It doesn’t sound daunting anymore, it just sounds like a matter of time. I am definitely a glass 1/2 full guy for sure.
4. Holy shit, another fucking word press update…sometimes I must say, fuck this blogging software. Not really though. Wordpress is really great, it’s just that I am HELLA lazy.
5. Yes, I regularly use the words “hella” “pimp” and “junk.” SO FUCKING WHAT?!
6. Yup, I am drunk blogging but it’s a happy drunk so back the fuck off.
7. Wow, I am quite belligerent tonight. This was a truly great weekend for Lys and I to be kinda non-parents and hang out with friends and family which we badly need (love you Nacho and Angela and Joe) and now we get to have a great weekend coming up for June to be with family. 2 great back to back weekends, YAY! Halloween is gonna be awesome.
